It is that time of year again for me a little like preparing for back to school,making sure I have everything in place for the coming season.with new stock coming later in the year,I am pleased to say I will be launching my new wallpaper soon.With a new approach to imagery,where I have used a small pattern instead of a line to create the design. That may not sound very exciting,but I think it’s interesting.Our everydays are bombarded with text ,lines that make up the symbols we call letters,they are rigid and self contained and have meaning and a function,of course.The lines I am using to describe my pattern are not overtly decorative,but promote a sense of fluidity and openness to the drawing,allowing it to sit on the design more like a stitch than a printed line.
